Clear waters came and swept me back like a tide
as I dive in the river Jordan
I feel my head fall back
for a second my lungs expanded
arms spread open
I see you in me
looking up crying Abba Abba
your beaten flesh taking the place of my formerly broken heart
letting go of this world
is falling back into the river
thought it was flying no longer afraid
push my back up
rising from the water
falling from my face
life in my eyes
the only jewels I hold are the holes in my hands
sing a new song dance
shake my head water sprinkles from my hair
lifted hands now I see and can never look away
