True desire to reach something
beyond what I want
and the temporary concerns that occupy
my state of mind lately
reach into
that calling in my heart
a voice
a single sound deep and harmonious
profound and everflowing
live rivers of joy
I send praise to you
in every nation
searching through the earth
all that I have seen
my heart calling out
to this one moment
the reason for my existence becomes so clear
in this moment I can feel
a tiny glimpse
the vastness of your love
the very core of my being
feeling my chest rise with every breath
my heart not lowering
I look up
eyes open wide yet remain serene
Hear it say
every earthly desire is yours
but now I only reach for this one thing
